By visiting or using New Jersey Busted Mugshots, you agree to these terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the site. This independently operated guide points readers toward records held by New Jersey counties, courts, corrections agencies, and archives, while some search tools are provided by outside services. Those sources have separate custodians, policies, and access rules. Each public agency decides how to handle its own record requests.

New Jersey Busted Mugshots is privately owned and is not affiliated with a government body, sheriff, jail, or corrections department. We help visitors find New Jersey arrest-record and booking-photo sources; we are not a private investigation firm or a consumer reporting agency. Neither this site nor its advertising partners provide consumer reports or services for any purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

What This Site Provides

This is a private reference guide with no connection to a public agency. It does not keep official booking or court records, confirm custody, release anyone, or submit documents to an agency for you.

The New Jersey pages map source paths across the counties and direct readers to state and court resources where relevant. They may also link to outside research tools. New Jersey’s Open Public Records Act, N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq., governs access to covered government records subject to its exceptions; it does not turn this private site into an official records custodian.

Note: A request for an agency record must go to that agency’s custodian, not to this statewide guide.
